My favorite time period is the intersection of post punk/new wave with earlier hip hop around the late 70s, but of course I’d want to keep the show current with newer releases while emphasizing the importance of music which crosses several genres. I love layers of rhythm, am a drummer, and had experience as a DJ with a three hour slot every week several years ago.

Music is all emotion, and I have no shortage of ideas around how to bring that out to the listener who’s contemplating God knows what while they’re tuned in. I LOVE to capture the emotional phenomena or contagion of a person, a room, or a city. I pride myself on attracting the ear of the progressive rebel, not the clearchannel robot with a formula for what sells on the airwaves.
