The Tapers Section is a show dedicated to live music recording. Most notably in the Jam Band circuit; with somewhat of a focus on shows recorded in and around the Charleston area. The latter portion of the show is devoted to local artists and their live performances.

This week on the Tapers section, host Christian opted for no theme, but fate has cast a few unexpected sub-themes: 1. the encore slot and 2. first shows with new personnel. Band changes are often imminent and this week's shows feature Jimmy Herring's first Widespread Panic, as well as Brent Mydland's first Grateful Dead show. Sprinkle in some a recent Goose recording from Firefly and Human Resources from the Pour House lot, a Jerry Joseph show deep from the vault at the Pour House, as well as some great recordings of The Bobs, Marley and Dylan. Fun little random show this week!
