The Tapers Section is a show dedicated to live music recording. Most notably in the Jam Band circuit; with somewhat of a focus on shows recorded in and around the Charleston area. The latter portion of the show is devoted to local artists and their live performances.

This week on Tapers Section, there is some brief discussion of the Grateful Dead. This Friday 6/17/22 is Christian Davis’s 30th anniversary of his first Grateful Dead concert in Charlotte, NC, so he played a few tracks from that show and briefly discussed the Grateful Dead 'it' factor 2. Widespread Panic first headline appearance at Mighty Red Rocks in 1996 3. a Gov't Mule encore with Luther and Cody from the Music Farm in 2000 4. a random A+ quality Springsteen nugget from 1975 5. and a few recent local tapes from Drivin n Cryin and Sol Driven Train.
