The Tapers Section is a show dedicated to live music recording. Most notably in the Jam Band circuit; with somewhat of a focus on shows recorded in and around the Charleston area. The latter portion of the show is devoted to local artists and their live performances.

This week on the Tapers Section, DJ Garrett Garnos remembered the reason he started this show, and got back to simply great live performances. Greatest hits of live music if you will. The JGB After Midnight from Oswego 80 is one of Jerry Garcia's musical high points. Just over 20 minutes of raw yet focused electric Garcia. This version is imprinted on his brain and DJ Garrett Garnos wanted to share it. Rounding out the week with a new source of one of my very favorite Panic shows 11/22/00, a new band alert in Andrew Scotchie, and a smoking Pass the Peas from James Brown and the JBs in Switzerland. 4 songs of pure heat!
