The Tapers Section is a show dedicated to live music recording. Most notably in the Jam Band circuit; with somewhat of a focus on shows recorded in and around the Charleston area. The latter portion of the show is devoted to local artists and their live performances.

This week on Tapers Section is so much of why we tape. A brand new original song from Solid Country Gold. Perhaps Janis Joplin's second recording, and first in San Francisco at the California Coffee House in 1963! An amazing audience recording of Gov't Mule from Halloween 98 in Tokyo. And a very crisp recording of Sam Holt from 2016. We tape shows to capture these historic moments. So they live on years after they leave the speakers.
